Standard plastics for our fiberglass-reinforced plastic screws include polyamides (PA) with 30%, 50%, or 60% glass fiber content.
However, screws made from PEEK with 30% glass fiber content, PE, POM, ABS, and all common thermoplastics are also possible upon request, including custom colors.
The mechanical and physical properties, especially tensile strength, depend on environmental conditions. Practical testing is recommended. For tightening, we recommend using a torque wrench or torque screwdriver. Recommended value = 50% of the breaking torque.
