Our self-tapping countersunk screws allow for installation into easily formable materials such as wood, plastics, or elastomers without requiring a tapped hole, only a pilot hole.
The standard plastic for our fiberglass-reinforced self-tapping countersunk screw is polyamide (PA) with 50% glass fiber content. However, screws made from PEEK with 30% glass fiber content, PE, POM, ABS, and all common thermoplastics are also available, including custom colors upon request.
The mechanical and physical properties, especially tensile strength, depend on environmental conditions. Practical testing is recommended.
For tightening, we recommend using a torque wrench or torque screwdriver.
