WT hexagon (long) nut according to WT standard WT-SM-2017, similar to DIN 6334, made of plastic (refer to material properties) with metric threads.
Standard plastics for our fiberglass-reinforced plastic screws include polyamides (PA) with 30%, 50%, or 60% glass fiber content.
However, nuts made from PEEK with 30% glass fiber content, PE, POM, ABS, and all common thermoplastics are also possible upon request, including custom colors.
The mechanical and physical properties, especially tensile strength, depend on environmental conditions. Practical testing is recommended.
For tightening, please use a torque wrench or torque screwdriver. Recommended value = 50% of the breaking torque.
